Duffus Estate is the ideal base from which to explore Moray. We are 5 minutes away from the miles of deserted sandy beaches of the Moray Firth, which time and again have been voted in the top 12 in the world by the prestigious National Geographic Society ‘Traveller’ magazine. You might even be lucky enough to spot a passing resident bottlenose dolphin or minke whale!
Moray truly is malt whisky country – it boasts more than half of Scotland’s malt whisky distilleries. A stay during one of the whisky festivals in May and September is especially worthwhile, whilst touring the Speyside Malt Whisky Trail at any time of the year is always enjoyable.
With golf, walking, cycling, bird watching and such impressive ruins as Duffus Castle, St Peter’s Kirk and Spynie Palace all close by, you’ll not run out of things to do!

We always knew we wanted to do something else at Duffus Castle but it took Covid to really make us crystalise our plans.
We have a passion for food and drink and knew the time was right to launch a wee take away, especially now that people are more used to being outside due to Covid restrictions. We are very lucky to be in a position where we can offer our customers a true ‘brew with a view’.
