A place where you can relax and unwind in a comfortable home from home
The house is everything it says in the description but felt much more spacious and comfortable than I had imagined (or the photographs suggested). Our hosts were excellent, communicated promptly and made us feel very welcome. The kitchen is well equipped, the bedrooms comfortable and the public rooms spacious. The house is light and airy (I’m sure with its central heating and a log fire it would be equally cozy in winter) and if you like being in the country but feel the need to remain in touch then the wi-fi is good. There are a dozen reasons that make this place ideal for a memorable holiday, if any of these are what you are looking for then this is a place you should seriously consider:- A place where you can relax and unwind in a comfortable home from home. A place where you feel you are in the middle of the country but have an excellent shop and pub quarter of a mile away. A place where there is space inside and out to relax and enjoy A place where kids can wander free and explore the extensive grounds and estate on their own without you having to worry. A place where some of the biggest and most beautiful sandy beaches in the country with hardly a soul on them are all yours within five minutes in a car (you can walk to the nearest!). A place where some of the best golf, fishing and sailing in the UK are on your doorstep. A place in Scotland with its own micro climate where the sun shines more and the rain falls significantly less. A place surrounded by and steeped in history. A place with access to the Highlands within 30 minutes, a large town within ten and a city within forty five. A place with easy access to the most famous whisky distilleries on the planet. A place where the roads are quiet, cycling is easy and communications are good. A place where the sky is big and the sunsets amazing.
