Old Duffus Farmhouse

Lovely quiet location with fantastic views to castle which is well worth visiting even if your not staying here!

Spacious, clean and well equipped home. We were up and out early in the mornings for the day so having 2 spacious bathrooms was great for us all and the wood fire most appreciated in the evenings!

It was a privilege to stay here, many thanks to the host and house keeper

Waking up in the morning you could see morning mist over the castle. Truly a beautiful place. I highly recommend it.

Absolutely beautiful house, brilliant size and in my opinion great price as up to 8 people can stay.

Lots of space out around for children to play and lots of beautiful scenery.

Animals everywhere and everyone is so welcoming. We will be back.

We just had the loveliest time. 

The Farmhouse was very well equipped. It was somewhere we all felt immediately at ease and relaxed. 

The decoration, rooms and garden were beautifully appointment.

The welcome package and information was ideal too.

What a truly unique place to be. Lovely property, secluded and peaceful. Stunning views of the Duffus Castle ruin which was also our favourite place to explore with the kids at dusk, and only a 1 minute walk! Super location for exploring the North East coast (we did from Nairn to Cullen), amazing beaches, local restaurants, local pubs, local butchers the lot. Lots to do back at the house as well following a day of exploring with all the sports/games equipment and large enclosed garden. Kids favourites were badminton and rounders! And being near to the airfield it was awesome to see the occasional Jet flying overhead! Would highly recommend as a venue, and the host was very helpful in all our queries and requests. P.S. The breakfast pack is a must, lovely. As is a trip to the coffee hut beside the castle!
