Old Duffus Farmhouse

We just had the loveliest time. 

The Farmhouse was very well equipped. It was somewhere we all felt immediately at ease and relaxed. 

The decoration, rooms and garden were beautifully appointment.

The welcome package and information was ideal too.

What a truly unique place to be. Lovely property, secluded and peaceful. Stunning views of the Duffus Castle ruin which was also our favourite place to explore with the kids at dusk, and only a 1 minute walk! Super location for exploring the North East coast (we did from Nairn to Cullen), amazing beaches, local restaurants, local pubs, local butchers the lot. Lots to do back at the house as well following a day of exploring with all the sports/games equipment and large enclosed garden. Kids favourites were badminton and rounders! And being near to the airfield it was awesome to see the occasional Jet flying overhead! Would highly recommend as a venue, and the host was very helpful in all our queries and requests. P.S. The breakfast pack is a must, lovely. As is a trip to the coffee hut beside the castle!

We just loved our stay in your lovely, cosy farmhouse. There is nothing that we would change, everything was perfect— our home from home. My grandson, who is autistic, would have stayed forever. We had a truly wonderful week visiting great places and having breakfast every morning to a chorus of wonderful birdsong. Thank you.

Our 4th time at Duffus farmhouse for Hogmanay and once again a real pleasure to stay in this wonderful cosy retreat set in wonderful picturesque surroundings

Beautiful location overlooking Duffus Castle. Very well equipped and comfortably furnished. We enjoyed meals around the kitchen table and relaxing around the log burner. The main bathroom is amazing.
