Meet the Team

Our team at Duffus Estate is tight-knit. Like everything we do at the Estate, we put our heart and soul into our team and want them to feel part of the Duffus Estate family. We sent our team a few questions to share with you, read on to meet Gemma, who has been with us since 2018.

Give us an insight into your daily routine at Duffus Estate?

My morning starts with a visit to the Duffus Post Office to pick up our fresh local produce for our guests welcome pack. Sometimes I visit our local butcher for a breakfast pack if guest have requested one. After arriving on the estate I organise the laundry for the day. I then head out to the property to change over and set up for the next guest arriving, making sure everything is clean and in place.

Tell us a little about yourself….

Gemma and Bluebelle
Gemma and Bluebelle

I’m a mum to two beautiful children, a daughter of 10 and a son of 7. My husband is a warrant officer in the Royal Engineers. He has served the British Army since he was 16 years old, we make a great team. Outside of work I’m often found in the gym trying to hit my personal best at dead lifting or squatting. Lifting weights has become part of a daily routine for me but not before cleaning the house as this is my true passion. I have a massive love for Staffordshire bull terriers and have a girl called Bluebelle. Bluebelle is my best friend and we often enjoy lots of walks round the Estate and cuddles.

What do you enjoy about working in the team at Duffus Estate?

My work on the Estate has grown over the years as has my love for all our holiday lets. Our amazing Eco Cabin to our Old Duffus Farmhouse and all the others in between are really special. Each property has its own character and I love nothing more that to emphasise this in my cleaning. Being part of the Estate family and living the same values as Caroline and Ed not only make me feel part of the team, but also a friend. I really do love my job and everything it involves.
